Terms

Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the AGPCNP Preceptor website and placement service. Using this site or contacting us means you accept them. We have written them plainly so the boundaries of what we do are clear. We are an independent placement service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any university or certification body, and nothing on this site should be read as coming from a school.

What service do we provide?

AGPCNP Preceptor is an independent clinical-placement service. We help Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner students at any university find and secure qualified preceptors and approved clinical sites across the adult and gerontology arc, and we shepherd the associated affiliation-agreement paperwork.

Our role is sourcing, vetting against your program's stated rules, and coordination. We do not provide education, clinical training, medical advice, or academic credit, and we are not a substitute for your program's own guidance. The requirements you must meet are set by your university, and this site's descriptions of hours and rules are general information, not a statement of your specific program's requirements.

What are the limits of what we do?

Being clear about limits is the point of this section.

  • We do not approve placements. Final approval of any site or preceptor rests solely with your university.
  • We do not guarantee outcomes. We do not guarantee hours, grades, certification, licensure, or program completion.
  • We are not your school. Nothing we provide is a tuition charge, refund, discount, or credit, and we do not speak for any university or certification body.
  • Requirements can change. Clinical-hour standards and program rules change, so you must confirm your specific requirements with your school before relying on any figure here.

The clinical-hour figures on this site, including the 2022 NTF minimum of 750 direct patient care hours per NP track and the older 500-hour certification-eligibility floor, are general reference points. Your program's actual requirement governs you, and you should verify it with your school.

What else should you know?

A few standard terms round this out.

  • Your responsibilities. You agree to give accurate information and to meet your own program's academic, clinical, and professional obligations.
  • Fees. Where a placement fee applies, we disclose it to you in writing before you commit, under our matched-first model described on the pricing page.
  • Content. The content on this site is provided as general information without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for decisions made solely in reliance on it.
  • Changes. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will be posted here with a revised date.

If anything in these terms is unclear, contact us through the form on our contact page before you proceed. For how we handle your information, see our privacy policy.

Questions

Good to know

Does AGPCNP Preceptor guarantee I will be placed or pass?

No. We do not guarantee hours, grades, certification, licensure, or program completion. We source and coordinate preceptors and sites and vet them against your program's stated rules, but final approval rests with your university, and your academic and clinical outcomes are your own.

Is anything on this site my program's official requirement?

No. The clinical-hour figures and rules described here, including the 750-hour NTF minimum and the 500-hour certification floor, are general reference points. Your university sets your actual requirements, which can change, so confirm them with your school before relying on any figure here.

How do fees work under these terms?

Where a placement fee applies, we disclose it to you in writing before you commit, under the matched-first model described on our pricing page: no placement fee until we have secured a qualified preceptor and an approved site for you. Our fee is never a tuition charge or refund.

Are you affiliated with my university?

No. We are an independent placement service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any university or certification body. Nothing on this site should be read as coming from a school.
